::A Chronological List of Orangun of Oke-Ila

1. Ajagunla Fagbamila                          Reigned at Igbo Ajagunla. The Progenitor of the Igbomina people.

2 Orangun Amotagesi                           Reigned at Ila-Yara.

3 Orangun Ogboye                               Reigned at Ila-Yara.He was the uterine brother of Alara and Ajero.He was the father of Apakiimo,Arutu Oluokun,Adegbiji Lado (otherwise known as Igbonnibi) and Olakale (Baba Ebo)

4 Oboyun Moyara                                He reigned at Ila-Yara .History has it that Orangun Oboyun buried all the beads at Oyi River, when he was about to die, because he did not expect any other person to reign as Orangun after him. He was very unpopular, hence, the denigration, which always greets the mention of his name. Such as Orangun Oboyun ,ofo dan dan dan dan Orangun Oboyun mo Yara;To ko dukia sigbo. To k’aje wo mi,B’oku re,ko ni sun re dan dan dan.

                                                             (He had no biological son for the throne)

5 Orangun Apakiimo                            He was the last Orangun who ruled at Ila-Yara.This is the point of departure among brothers. Apakiimo’s younger brother (of the same mother) Arutu Oluokun and his two other half younger brothers,Adegbiji Lado (Igbonnibi) and Olakale (Baba Ebo) departed from Ila-Yara .Arutu Oluokun ,thereafter ruled at Ila-Magbon ,while Apakiimo, few of the Descendants of Arutu and the elders of Ila-Yara founded Ila-Okiri,now Oke-Ila Orangun : (Okeila Orangun in history was variously known as Igbohun, Ila-Okiri and now OkeIla Orangun). For Orangun Apakiimo’s usual immaculate white attire,he got the accolade;Oba nini bi eni gbon wu egungun.

8 Oba Ajinawoola Aniyunlogba            O s’agbe Ogede bi eniti ko lebe kan isu.He was a descendant of Arutu Oluokun.

11 Oba Ajibade Aroyeun Ofiini:    He was installed as Orangun Oke-Ila before he abdicated the throne. He was later made the Orangun of Ila. He was referred to as; Ofinni si ra wese; meaning the trim and smart washes his feet clean.

12 Oba Ayalamoye Tinuade:                 Orangun so gbe digboro; s’ atan gongo doja

13 Oba Aderosin Agbedegbede           He was a descendant of Arutu.He was installed as Orangun of Oke-Ila and he reigned for sometimes, before he abdicated the throne. He later became the Orangun of Ila.

14 Oba Adeyale Arojojoye I:               Orangun adele tejiteji

15 Oba Owolabi Oduru:                       He later abdicated the throne to found Ipetu-Igbomina.

16 Oba Adebayo Ejidunmade               Iwa l’orisa ,ibi ti a ba mo iwa hu de,ibe ni baba gbeni moo. Christianity and Islam came to Oke-Ila Orangun in his time.

17 Oba Bamigbade Adeyemi                Omo a loke la da,Omo aloko ni kere,Omo asagbe Ogede,bi eniti ko le be kan Isu.During his reign,road entered Oke-Ila Orangun.

18 Oba Olatundun Adewole                 He reigned between 1950 and 1961.

                                                            Ilufemiloye,baba Moradeke. Oti Ori Ori Obaalotin bo si Orangun.He officially opened the motor road to the town.The first Dispensary and Maternity in the town was constructed in His time. He also started the building of Oba’s palace.

19 Oba S. Adeyemi Arojojoye II:     The immediate past Orangun. He built the old waste places, raised up the foundations of many generations. He was The Repairer of the Breach ,the Restorer of Paths to dwell in and The Modern Builder of Oke-Ila Orangun.

20 Oba Adedokun Omoniyi Abolarin The incumbent.
